About Adam

I am Adam Epstein, Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). Here in the Admissions Office I am responsible for managing the WPI volunteer tour guide program, Crimson Key, maintaining the Admissions Web site, and of course reading many applications from across the country! My geographic areas of responsibility include Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, parts of Massachusetts, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, and Washington. I am also the liaison to our athletic department, sit on the Admissions publications team, and oversee the Admissions Interns.

I had the wonderful opportunity to attend WPI myself as a member of the Class of 2005. My bachelor’s degree is in mathematics with minor studies in management and international studies. While an undergraduate I completed two off-campus projects of seven weeks each: my interactive project in Venice, Italy in summer 2003 and my major project in New York City in fall 2004. I was involved in a number of extracurricular activities including student government, the social committee, Crimson Key (WPI’s tour guides), and the class board of 2005. Presently, I am pursuing a master’s degree focusing on management within technological organizations within the Department of Management at WPI.

This blog will give you some insight into the admissions process, what makes WPI a unique and special place, and me! Stay tuned and feel free to comment and ask questions!
